The closest airport is Memmingen. Most of our students have to fly into Zurich or Munich airport on arrival and then depart from Memmingen. They usually arrive on a Sunday morning and leave on a Friday afternoon.
No flights are not included in the price. You will need to arrange your own flights, although we are happy to advise which flight to book.
Transfer between the airport and your school can be arranged. The prices can be found on the dates & prices page.
All meals are included in the price. You will however need money for socialising and shopping during your time away.
The school does not permit friends or even students of the same nationality to share rooms. Staying with a student who you didn’t know before your trip is a great way to widen your circle of friends while getting the chance to practice your language skills with new people. If this makes you feel uncomfortable they school has a limited amount of single rooms available for an additional cost of €160 per week.
Having a foundation of conversational German is beneficial to students going on any of our language courses but even less advanced students will see their fluency flourish in a short space of time during this immersive experience.

People in language school lovely and very eager to teach. Teachers very good. The activities such as Sailing, bowling, cinema and beach very enjoyable. Melanie my host mum was so sweet and kind and her son was so cute.
I’ve loved my time away in La Rochelle. I came here not having a huge amount of French. And now I fell l have a good understanding of all the basic and feel I have improved hugely. We went sailing every Friday and that wold have to be one of the highlights of the trip. Going into shops and buying something, I struggled at the start but a few weeks in I had no trouble. I’ve really enjoyed the last month.
I have learnt a lot here. I had good craic. I think it helped that the teachers had limited English as it improved my French a lot. I enjoyed the activities after school and the trips in a Saturday, but I think it would be better to have one or two Saturdays off, so we can do what we wanted. My host was very nice, and she spoke little English which also improved my French. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here.
I really enjoyed my time here and I would love to come back I really liked my classes in the morning with Lea. I feel like my French has definitely improved.
I thought the whole experience was first class. From the school to the activities to free time, I really enjoyed everything the school had to offer. I thought Tom was very kind and well prepared for everything. I really enjoyed it all and can’t say a bad thing about any of it. My host family also could not have been kinder and more welcoming towards me, the activities we did as well were very good. I particularly enjoyed the sailing. I would recommend this trip and will make sure my younger brother comes here.
I'm delighted to give a review of Anne-Marie’s 6 week stay in Cádiz. She would tell you that it was the highlight of her TY year and a tremendous opportunity for her to mature and experience increased levels of independence. She learnt a considerable amount in Clic for the three weeks she was there and enjoyed the cultural experience of the three weeks she had in college. She found the children exceptionally warm, welcoming and interested in her. Anne-Marie’s host mum Maria was really wonderful. She spent a lot of time with Anne-Marie allowing her time to practice the Spanish she was learning and she and her husband were very kind. I couldn’t speak highly enough of them. Cádiz is a wonderful town for teenagers to visit, to learn a language in a safe and interesting environment. Anne-Marie always felt comfortable walking around town and she became adept at taking buses.
